One of the Chicago Bears most productive offensive players last year was wide receiver Cameron Meredith. He racked up 66 catches for 888 yards, while adding 4 touchdowns, but none of the 32 teams in the NFL though he was worth a draft pick. Meredith was a part of the 2015 undrafted free agent class of the Chicago Bears.

One of Chicago’s best defenders last season, Jerrell Freeman, was one of their offseason free agent pickups. But before he had 100 plus tackles every year from 2012 to 2016, he was an undrafted free agent of the Tennessee Titans.

Point being, you never know where you’ll find your players from, and once a player gets into an NFL training camp he has as good a shot as the high draft pick does.

We’ll stay on top of all the rumors floating around in regards to the UDFAs that the Chicago Bears are linked to.

Agents and prospective players will be tweeting stuff out like crazy in the next couple days, so keep in mind that the UDFA period is like the Wild West. Until a team officially announces a signing, don’t assume he’s a new Bear.

As the rumors start flowing, we’ll insert them into this article. If you guys come across any, be sure to share them in the comment section.

We’ll also share the rumors of the prospects that will be attending the Bears’ rookie minicamp.

Once the Bears announce their official UDFA signings, EJ will have mini-scouting reports on all of them.
