Chicago Bears Rookie minicamp Day 2 recap

NFL: Chicago Bears-Rookie Minicamp Matt Marton-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Bears are two thirds of the way through rookie minicamp, and these youngsters are starting to get acclimated to the pro game. Not only on the field, but also with the Chicago media, as this is probably more press than some of these draft picks have ever seen.

Second round tight end Adam Shaheen, from tiny Ashland college, met the media today and he was asked about some controversial Tweets from when he was younger. "I was a dumb teenager," is what an older, wiser Shaheen said. He will no doubt be more mindful and think before Tweeting.

Shaheen praises the demeanor and work ethic of his weekend roommate, first round quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, saying those two things will help make him great. Trubisky and Shaheen clicking off the field, could only help them connect on the field as well.

Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio also met the media today and he hit on a number of topics, including Danny Trevathan possibly not being available to start training camp, Kyle Fuller still being in the mix at corner and Leonard Floyd reporting in better shape than last year.

Here are a few tweets from Day 2 of rookie minicamp.
