The Chicago Bears have finished up with two OTA practice days (May 22-23), and they’ll be back at it today (May 25). Their remaining OTA practice days are as follows; May 30, June 1-2, June 5-6, and June 8-9. Their three day mandatory minicamp takes place from June 13-15. The media is only granted access on the Tuesday’s listed above, so it’ll be a struggle getting the volume of news that us Bears’ fans crave.
But we’ll be here plugging away!
So far, the Bears don’t have any contractual hold out problems, but there are a handful of key players that are still rehabbing their injuries. These players will be at Halas Hall, but they won’t be on the practice field much, if at all.
Even with these voluntary offseason practices, any absence is an opportunity for other players to step up and get noticed by the coaching staff, and in my latest T Formation Conversation podcast (Subscribe now for free on iTunes), I discuss the injured Bears and which players will try and take advantage of the extra reps.
