The Chicago Bears lost their most talented wide receiver when a long term deal couldn’t be reached with Alshon Jeffery. He’s a Pro Bowl talent when he’s on the field, but due to injuries and suspension, he wasn’t always available, so the Bears let him walk. His departure, coupled with them adding a number of free agents that have injury histories of their own, leaves Chicago’s receiving corps as the position group with the most questions surrounding it.
Now with the de facto #1WR, Cameron Meredith, out with an injury to his thumb, this group of rehabbers and youngsters will need to prove they can make an impact in 2017.
In my latest T Formation Conversation podcast (Subscribe now for free on iTunes!), I talk about the eleven wide outs currently on the Bears’ roster, what issues they have to overcome, and what they need to do to make the 53 man roster.
Give the show a listen, and let me know how you guys see the wide receiving position shaking out for the Bears.
