Today marks the day that Bears players ‘storm the dorm’ at Olivet Nazarene University to embark on the journey of the 2017 season. While practices don’t start until tomorrow, we were able to glean a few nuggets of information from the head men in charge.

Here is what Head Coach John Fox had to say:

This is the first of several notes about sport science and health.

Hmmm...sounds like Fox knows his job may be on the line...

...confirmed.

This speaks volumes honestly.

Congrats big man! Josh Sitton is having a baby!

General Manager Ryan Pace gave us a little bit more information on injuries, Fox’s future and the direction of the team:

I am not sure I believe this...Danny Trevethan had a pretty brutal injury.

I guess we will find out later today then.

Nothing surprising here...

...or here.

This is about what we expected. He needs to drill the fundamentals first.

I sure hope so. I am very interested to see what Kevin White looks like.

It’s his year!

This will hopefully get done shortly. Akiem Hicks is still an ascending player.

This is very interesting, the Bears have joined the 21st Century!

These aren’t Virginia’s Bears anymore are they? VR?? That’s pretty cool!

Not surprising, you have to make Mitch Trubisky earn it.

Here are a few updates on specific players:

Leonard Floyd

Marcus Cooper

Adam Shaheen

And just for fun, here are a few of the players reporting:

Eric Kush needs Kyle Long to ride with him. He looks lonely...

Bookends...Leonard Floyd and Pernell McPhee

QB 1...

QB 2...er 3...and check out those guns man. Looks like a strong safety

What are your thoughts on day 1 of training camp? Anything stick out to you?
