Madden reveals their rookie ratings, Mitchell Trubisky is a 77

OK all you video gamers out there, are you ready for the latest installment of EA Sports’ popular Madden franchise?

Madden NFL 18 will be out soon, but in the meantime, they’re garnering some press by dropping their rookie ratings.

Chicago Bears’ quarterback Mitchell Trubisky ended up with a 77 rating, which is tied for 12th overall among all first time players. Also at 77 overall are John Ross, the speedy wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals, and Garett Bolles, offensive tackle for the Denver Broncos.

Among the rookie quarterbacks, Trubisky’s 77 leads the way. Right below him, at 76 overall, is the Kansas City ChiefsPatrick Mahomes II, and Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans.

Brand new this year is story mode, which allows you to role play the part of a football player. Check out the clip below and let us know if you recognize an actor or two.
