There were some positive things from Chicago Bears’ quarterbacks Mike Glennon, Mitchell Trubisky, and Mark Sanchez today at practice. It’s possible it was because they were back in just helmets after two straight days of pads, but regardless, it’s good to see them starting to build some rapport with their tight ends and receivers.
Mike Glennon is starting to separate himself a little from the pack, which is expected as they go through camp. He’s assumed that leadership role, and said “that's kinda been the case, really since I got here." The Bears may hope they know what the future holds (Trubisky), but early on in 2017, they’d love for Glennon to be the clear cut present.
All three quarterbacks were helpoed out today by some good play form the wide outs and receivers, with Kevin White probably having his best day. Also continuing to be noticed is Adam Shaheen, with Glennon praising both his big rookie tight end and free agent Dion Sims.
Now on to a few Tweets from camp...
Kevin White with a flash play in 7-on-7, finds a soft spot and breaks free for a big gain.

Kendall Wright also made a catch in a tight window. Bryce Callahan just missed deflecting it.

Trubisky, showing a lot of patience, goes through his progressions and hits Titus Davis perfectly deep. Camp connection.

Glennon and Meredith connect almost every time he looks his way, for reference. https://t.co/GJUnr6pKZS

Mitch Trubisky just showed his athleticism and arm strength, rolling right and throwing a deep Dwight Clark-y touchdown to Ben Braunecker

Highlight of the day so far: Trubisky, pressured, flicks the wrist to Ben Braunecker on a TD dime deep - who was double covered.

Mike Glennon's hard count already inducing a couple of offsides from the defense - and offense.

Dion Sims is very reminiscent of Desmond Clark. Building that kind of rapport with Glennon.

Mike Glennon showed some nice footwork in the pocket before connecting with Dion Sims. Glennon's obv not fast, so footwork is paramount

Victor Cruz has had a really nice camp. That old burst and quick feet are still there.

That's a wrap for Bears practice today. No INTs in the session. FWIW (admittedly not much), Mike Glennon's sharpest practice we've seen.
