Mama’s boy Otis is still one of a kind, but these days former Bears’ great, Otis Wilson, is working to enrich the lives of children by exposing them to opportunities that aren’t usually available to them through the Otis Wilson Charitable Association. They routinely sponsor a youth mentoring program, The Otis Wilson Athletic Sports Camp, The Better Chance Youth Summer Golf Camp, The Today’s Kidz Fitness & Health Expo and The Otis Wilson Celebrity Golf Classic.

Their latest endeavor is the Bear Down Classic, (you can follow them on Twitter @beardownclassic) which is a Chicago Bears-themed, 2-day golf tournament to be hosted annually at a select Caribbean destination. This year’s luxurious destination is at the Sandals Championship Golf Club in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The event will take place on December 8th-9th, 2017.

The Bear Down Classic is organized, in-part, by Scott Prestin, who recently finished directing a documentary on the '85 Bears.
