When you have a potentially budding franchise quarterback, along with potentially two consecutive promising rookie draft classes, hope can spring eternal.
The Chicago Bears are still seeking a lot of answers through the remainder of this preseason. There are questions in the secondary, health-wise, and more. Who's going to start at quarterback? The hotshot rookie in Mitchell Trubisky or the veteran Mike Glennon? What's Kyle Long's status? Solutions to these issues will indeed take some time.
But, this year's annual training camp in Bourbonnais offered an excellent foundation towards that front and a look at quite the bright future at Halas Hall if all goes according to plan.
I hopped on WGN's CLTV SportsFeed with Jarrett Payton to discuss all of these new developments concerning the Bears such as Tarik Cohen and Adam Shaheen's impact, and set that mentioned bright Bears' future into motion.
We went in-depth on every Bears impact player, discussed pertinent position group questions, and more as Week 1 of the 2017 regular season steamrolls ever closer.
