Jonathan Bullard out with a glute injury

NFL: Chicago Bears at Arizona Cardinals Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

I don’t know why, but I’ve always liked the word glute.

Say it aloud.

Glute.

Anyway, it has been reported that Chicago Bears’ defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard left tonight's game with a glute injury. A glute injury is an injury to the gluteus maximus, which is buttocks.

Hopefully it’s nothing too serious, because Bullard has had a couple of nice preseason games so far, and he’s been really good in camp too.

Against the Arizona Cardinals tonight, Bullard had 3 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and a quarterback hit. He had 2 tackles and a tackle for loss last week against the Denver Broncos.

If the Bears announce any further information on the injury, we’ll be sure to pass it along right here at Windy City Gridiron.

Now get back to our second half open thread and discuss the game with your fellow WCG members.

Do it.

Do it now.

Glute.
