There is going to be NFL football played this week.
Hip hip hooray.
It’s the usually unwatchable, sometimes cancelled, annual Hall Of Fame game, but it’s still NFL football!
How to watch Hall of Fame Game
Who: Dallas Cowboys vs. Arizona Cardinals
Time: Thursday, Aug. 3, 8 p.m. ET
Place: Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, Canton, Ohio
TV: NBC
Announcers: Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth
Online: NBC Sports
Bruce Arians, Arizona’s head coach, has already announced that none of his starters will play in the game. Arains also said that his second string quarterback, Drew Stanton, and his new defensive back, Tramon Williams, would be held out. Blaine Gabbert will quarterback the first half, with Trevor Knight quarterbacking the second half.
The Cowboys have yet to make an announcement on playing time, but if you’re expecting to see Dak Prescott, Dez Bryant, or Ezekiel Elliott, I’ll wish you good luck.
Chicago Bears’ fans, the Bears play the Cardinals on August 19th in their second preseason game, but the only way the’ll match-up with Dallas is if both teams make the playoffs.
Nope, I didn’t type that last line with a straight face.
