Five Chicago Bears I think are off the bubble and making the 53 man roster

NFL: Denver Broncos at Chicago Bears Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

NFL teams are only eleven days away from having to get their rosters down to the mandated 53 players. The league changed the cut down rules this year, so there isn’t a 90 player to 75 player cut down after the third preseason game, instead, every team needs to be down to their 53 man roster no later than 3 p.m. CST on Sunday, Sept. 3rd.

While most teams around the league have the majority of their rosters all sorted out, there are still a handful of spots up for grabs. These next two preseason games, as well as the next few practices could mean the difference between a roster spot, a practice squad gig, or a career change.

In my latest T Formation Conversation podcast (subscribe for free on iTunes), I discuss five Bears’ payers that have been on the roster bubble, but now, after camp and a couple of preseason games, I feel confident will open up with the team.
