In the first half of today’s game, Chicago Bears wide out Cameron Meredith was carted off the field in what looked like a serious injury. The FOX replay crew wouldn't even show the replay, it appeared that severe. If you really want to see the injury, I’ll share it down below.
The Bears’ trainers used the air cast to stabilize the leg, but Meredith walked to the cart on his own. On the play, his left leg was held up and it bent awkwardly as a couple of Tennessee Titans tackled him.
The Bears announced that initial observations revealed a knee injury, but that doesn’t necessarily rule out a break or a fracture.
This injury could really hurt a position group that was already thin. Third year pro Kevin White, and the trio of free agent wide outs will need to step up if Meredith misses time.
Keep it locked right here at Windy City Gridiron and we’ll update as more information becomes available.
EDIT: FOX Sports reported that Meredith has a torn ACL.
