The Chicago Bears are taking a little road-trip as they leave cozy Bourbonnais and Olivet Nazarene University, where they’ve been at training camp for over week now, and head up to Chicago for Fan Fest.
They’ll conduct today’s practice at Soldier Field, and lets all cross our fingers that the field is in pristine condition for this afternoon’s showcase of the 2017 Bears. I’m not saying that the Hroniss Grasu injury from a year ago was from the field, I’m just saying I hope there’s perfect conditions to eliminate that threat.
If you remember a year ago, Grasu was having a fine camp, as the Bears starting center, before the non-contact knee injury stole his entire 2016 season. Last year’s Fan Fest also saw a mini-brawl that centered around reserve offensive lineman Ted Larsen, who is now injured and in Miami with the Dolphins. The Dolphins... I seem to recall hearing some recent chit-chat about the Dolphins and a potential quarterback...
