Earlier today, the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Chicago Bears inside linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski’s season is possibly over. Head coach John Fox met the media moments ago and would not confirm the severity, saying there are, "different opinions’" and that they, “don't have a final analysis quite at this point."
Kwiatkoski left yesterday’s game in Tampa with a pectoral injury and did not return. This could make it two inside linebackers out for the season with an injury to their pec, joining Jerrell Freeman who is currently on injured reserve.
At some point the strength and conditioning program at Halas Hall will need to answer some questions.
The Bears are also evaluating Josh Sitton’s ribs after an injury on Sunday. Chicago’s starting right guard left yesterday’s game in the second half and did not return.
Running back Jordan Howard still has a sore shoulder, an injury that he suffered in week one against the Falcons. Fox, just like he did last week, did not seem worried about the injury. It is worth noting that Howard was in a sling after the game yesterday.
Once we know more info on any of these injuries we’ll pass it along...
