The Mitchell Trubisky-Mike Glennon debate has been dominating the sports discourse around the city of Chicago of late, with what seems like literally no one being able to resist giving their input. From general fans, to major sports personalities, it feels like most feel the need to offer their insight on the Chicago Bears' quarterback situation - especially when pressed upon.
In a cross-sport talk, the latest major and current Chicago sports star to weigh in was Chicago Cubs' third baseman, Kris Bryant. Bryant, the reigning National League MVP, has a strong opinion on who should be under center for the Bears. Spoiler alert: it's the young gun.
"I mean, give him a chance," said Bryant to 670 The Score on Thursday afternoon, pushing in his cards on the belief in Trubisky starting now for the Bears' future.
Bryant, the current king of Chicago baseball, would know something about success with youth and growing on the fly given the Cubs' rise and current standing as contenders. Now let's just see if the Bears listen to the Cubs' superstar's advice and #FlyTheTrubisky.
