The manner in which the 2017 Chicago Bears are currently constructed leaves them with some limitations. The injuries are a concern, but even if this team was 100% top to bottom, the margin of error would still be small. They need a lot to go right for them, and a lot to go wrong for their opponent, in order to have success.
In the latest edition of my T Formation Conversation podcast (Subscribe now on iTunes for free!), I discuss what I think the Bears need to do moving forward. Since it seems like there won’t be a change at the quarterback position, there are a few tweaks I think the offense needs.
Here’s a basic outline of my show.
- Injury recap - Who could be back this week and what does that mean.
- Run / ratio - Would you believe the Bears are starting off each game fairly balanced?
- Run game scheme - Where should they be running.
- Offensive formation options
