Chicago Bears players are doing good deeds

@BearsOutreach

Chicago Bears’ players, both current and former, have always been very active in the community and with charitable organizations. It’s one of those things that is ingrained within the origination, but it’s not only the Bears, it’s league wide. It’s also across all professional sports. But it’s not just a professional thing. College teams, high school teams, and even youth sports organizations are all active in their communities. Athletes give back. It’s one of those things that makes sports great.

The Bears even have their own charitable arm, Bears Care, which is part on their community corner. You can also find more about this Twitter @BearsOutreach.

As a part of SB Nation’s theme week, all 32 NFL sites wanted to spotlight some of the good deeds being done by the players we all cover.

Jordan Howard is involved with the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

Former Bear great, Charles Tillman, has his Cornerstone Foundation.

Sam Acho and his family does missionary work in Nigeria.

Here are a few others that were tweeted out from Bears Outreach.

If you guys know of any other charities that the Bears have helped with through the years share them in the comment section.
