While it has been known that Quintin Demps fractured his left arm during the win over the Steelers but there was some question as to whether he could avoid surgery and not hit the injured reserve list.
Friday afternoon we got the answer:
Roster Update: We have placed Quintin Demps on IR. pic.twitter.com/pjkqvusc05

No word on a corresponding move but it’s another blow to a Bears team that has had just ridiculously bad luck with injuries over the last few seasons.
In addition to 8 players on IR for #Bears, another 6 have been waived off injured reserve.

Demps was replaced by Adrian Amos in last night’s game, who played well. According to Pro-Football Focus, Amos was the highest-graded defender last night, earning an 83.9 overall for the game.
Demps had 11 tackles on the season and no interceptions.
He will be eligible to return because IR players no longer have to have a designation, any two players can be brought back after 8 weeks.
What do you guys think about the loss of Demps? Will Amos be able to hold down the spot?
