It feels good to have some real football back tonight doesn’t it?
The NFL’s regular season is a like getting that incredibly cooked to perfection filet mignon after patiently waiting six months for your reservation at the top steak house in Chicago.
The preseason is nice, but it’s like an appetizer with week one being some chips and salsa. It’s good if there’s nothing else better.
Week two is like getting some guacamole and queso to pair up with the chips. Not bad, but still just snack food.
But then week three is like a giant plate of loaded nachos. I’m talking meat, cheese, more meat, and extra cheese, some onions and tomatoes, more meat, some black olives, sour cream, extra guac, and some more meat. A nacho appetizer that eats like a meal.
But then week four we’re back to the chips and salsa, but the chips are stale and the salsa is mostly just the watered down stuff that’s left once all the chunkier goodness is gone.
Enjoy tonight’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots!
