We are built to run a zone blocking scheme

Howard would be waisted in a power run scheme...

hitting the hole with authority isn't in his wheelhouse. he gets yards with vision and patience.

our offensive line is also built around a zone scheme with smaller athletic guys.

so if we are going to avoid negating some of our best players and huge roster turn over, we need to find a coach who's offense is also built around a zone scheme.

which of the perspective candidates run a zone blocking scheme?

wouldn't it be just as bad (or worse) trying to switch from a zone team to a power team as it would be to try to go back to a 4-3? we don't need the extra rebuild, I think a zone rushing scheme should be close to a prerequisite for our new offense
