Tampa Bay Buccaneers v Chicago Bears

Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL, powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Bears fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

The Chicago Bears’ are coming off their bye week, and even though they didn’t play, their lead in the NFC North grew thanks to the Detroit Lions beating the Green Bay Packers. It’s too bad the Minnesota Vikings won, but I have a feeling their tie with the Pack will somehow come into play come playoff time.

Here are the current NFC North standing:

  1. Bears: 3-1
  2. Packers: 2-2-1
  3. Vikings: 2-2-1
  4. Lions: 2-3

These individual team confidence polls seem to flow with the wins and losses, so when you root for the only team with a three game winning streak (the Bears) it’s natural that their numbers remain high.

We’ll take a peek at the confident level info-graphics for each NFC North team below.

Bears

Packers

Packer fans have seen their confidence level go on a steady decline, but that’s understandable considering their uneven performance this year (W-T-L-W-L).

Vikings

The Vikings were thought to be a legit Super Bowl contender this year, but a bad loss to the Buffalo Bills seems to have shook their fans. Beating the champion Eagles has their confidence soaring again though.

Lions

Wins against the Patriots and Packers caused a spike in confidence, and with a bye this week we may finally see the level stabilize. Interesting to note that they also get the Miami Dolphins in Miami following their bye week.

And speaking of the 3-2 Dolphins, the Bears opponent this Sunday, here is how their FanPulse voting went this week.

Dolphins

It may be another down week next week, as both Miami fans and Bears’ fans are expecting a Chicago victory. Fins’ fans have the Bears winning by three, and Bears’ fans are predicting an eight point spread.
