Bears vs. Dolphins Injury Report: Prince Amukamara is expected to play

This is the official injury report from both the Bears and the Dolphins in advance of their game this Sunday.

The Chicago Bears are still extremely healthy for an NFL team at this point in the season.

Cornerback Prince Amukamara will play in Miami this week after a full day of practice today, but corner Marcus Cooper has already been ruled out.

And that’s it. Officially speaking, Cooper is the only player listed on Chicago’s injury report

Wide receiver Anthony Miller, who missed the week 4 contest against the Buccaneers with an ailing shoulder, has been a full practice participant the last couple days. He says that he will wear a harness to protect his shoulder, but since he wore one in 2017 while at Memphis, he has zero concerns.

Starting left guard Eric Kush was been limited earlier this week, but he practiced in full today and will go on Sunday.

Even with Kush healthy, we may see some of the rookie James Daniels rotating into that spot like we did in their last game.

Adam Shaheen, who is on injured reserve, would be eligible to come back and practice with the team on Monday, but head coach Matt Nagy sounded like that wasn’t going to happen yet. “He’s rehabbing and he’s in all of our meetings,” Nagy said via the teams Twitter feed. “He has the ability to come back to practice down the road but we’re not there yet.”

Here’s something that dawned on me in regards to the Bears playing in the hot south Florida sun.

The injury report for the Miami Dolphins is a different story.

First the good news for them, as starting left tackle Laremy Tunsil is out of concussion protocol and will play on Sunday according to head coach Adam Gase even though he’s listed as questionable.

Here are the other questionable Dolphins.

Chase Allen OLB

Andre Branch DE

A.J. Derby TE

Jakeem Grant WR (thinks he expects to play)

Bobby McCain CB (said he expects to play)

T.J. McDonald S

Charles Harris DE

DeVante Parker WR (believes he’ll be able to play)

Ryan Tannehill QB (Sore throwing shoulder)

The Dolphins list defensive end Cameron Wake as doubtful with an injured knee, but it is expected that he’ll sit out on Sunday.
