The Bears are going to have a tough road game today down in Miami, where the heat index is expected to be right around 100 degrees with the typical south Florida humidity.
However, they may be catching a break, as Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who popped up on Friday’s injury report as questionable with a shoulder injury, won’t start and instead, back up Brock Osweiler will be the QB against the Bears:
And now @JeffDarlington is calling Dolphins' QB Ryan Tannehill "doubtful" for today's game against the Bears. More and more, it's looking like Brock Osweiler vs. the Bears.

Darlington himself tweeted that the Dolphins and head coach Adam Gase are playing this “close to the vest” and that Tannehill did go through a warm up and stretch this morning, so it could very well change.
Dolphins keeping this one admittedly and deliberately “close to the vest” as we inch toward kickoff.

This much is worth our attention: His status was considerably bleak late Saturday than we assumed/projected when he showed up on injury report.
Gase will make final call soon. https://t.co/KvIAldd5HS
If Dolphins fans are maintaining hope Tannehill might find a way, this at least shows team’s desire to keep options open: They did have him go through a work out this morning, per sources. Stretching the final call, doubtful as it might be.

“So you’re saying there’s a chance...”
It should be noted that the Dolphins offensive line has been banged up and that Tannehill has been scrambling around the last couple of games. That already was a favorable match up with Khalil Mack, Akiem Hicks and everyone else coming to town, but if it’s Osweiler, or a injured Tannehill, wow, look out.
It should be noted though, that Osweiler has beat the Bears twice; back in 2015, in week 11 with the Broncos at Soldier Field. Osweiler completed 20 of 27 passes for 257 yards and two TDs in a 17-15 win. Then in week 1 of 2016, he completed 22 of 35 passes for 231 yards, two TDs and one INT in a 23-14 Texans win.
UPDATE: Tannehill is officially inactive

Does this change your prediction for the game? Would you rather face an injured Tannehill or a full-strength Osweiler?
