Fan Challenge: the final vote!

Here we are, folks. The final round of voting for our latest fan challenge from Windy City Gridiron. And it’s certainly a big question that we’ve posed to the fans all across the web.

For those who’ve missed it, and are tuning in for the first time in this series, we’re looking to decide on a nickname for the Chicago Bears’ defense of 2018. This idea was proposed with respect to the trend that’s been set throughout the history of the NFL.

Last week, we began with our first round of voting. One week later, we have arrived to our three finalists. And they are:

• The Windy City Mafia* (proposed by your’s truly) *Editing note: I’ve done the walk of shame*
• The Bruise Brothers (Grizzled Geezer)
• The Monsters of the Midway (Tradition - George Halas)

With the Bears on a bye this week, now is the perfect time to resolve this matter. Shall we stick with tradition, and specify that The Monsters of the Midway strictly implies the Bears’ defense, as opposed to the whole team? Or, will a new title be presented and voted on by all of you? We will present our winner by this time next week.
