Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL, powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Bears fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

Each week, FanPulse members are given a set of questions about their favorite team and about the NFL in general. The one constant has been the, “How confident are you in the direction of the {Insert team name here}?” question. Many fanbases have been fluctuating positively and negatively with wins and loses, but Chicago Bears’ fans have been holding fairly steady all year long.

We’ve dipped a bit on the three losses, but for the most part, we’re confident in where the team is headed. After a three year rebuild from general manager Ryan Pace, and the hiring of head coach Matt Nagy before the season, many fans can see the end game in sight.

Bears’ fans are currently at a 93% confidence rating, which is fourth highest among all 32 fanbases. Only fans of the Saints (100%), Chiefs (98%), Rams (96%), and Colts (94%) are higher. Colts’ fans must be excited that Andrew Luck has been playing well and his pass protection is holding up for a change.

On the low end of the confidence spectrum, fans of the Broncos (9%), Ravens (8%), Buccaneers (8%), and Jaguars (5%) are the least confident.

I find it interesting that the Colts and Jags are both 3-5, yet their fans view their franchises in such a different light.

The Lions, like the Bears, hired a new head coach, but I don’t think their fans are very happy with Matt Patricia. I don’t think their fans realized the Patriot Way had something to do with media members sitting up straight when asking questions, or firing assistant coaches after losses.

The Packers’ fans have been fed up with head coach Mike McCarthy for a while now, and that franchise could be in for some change soon.

The Vikings have been up and down, but their fans have to feel they’ll be back on top of the division when they play the Bears on Sunday Night Football on November 18th following their bye.
