It’s a battle at the top of the AFC West tonight as the 10-3 Los Angeles Chargers visit the 11-2 Kansas City Chiefs. L.A. still has a shot at the division title, but the Chiefs would hold the tie breaker if the ended up even after week 17. However, a Chiefs win tonight will lock up the division and guarantee them a first round bye.

The Chiefs have been a fun team to watch this year, not only because they are absolutely rolling on offense, but because they have a similar scheme to what the Chicago Bears do. Seeing K.C. click with Patrick Mahomes in year two of Andy Reid’s system is a peek into the future for what head coach Matt Nagy and quarterback Mitchell Trubisky can become in Chicago.

Mahomes has been playing on another level this year, so expecting that may be a bit much, but Chicago’s offense will be better next year.
