Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL, powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Bears fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
I wanted to share our weekly FanPulse confidence results like I do every week, but I also wanted to ask Bears’ fans their thoughts on the recent addition to Soldier Field, the air raid siren.
First, our confidence results...

We’re up to 96% on the season, which ties for our second best this year. Our high water mark was after week 12 when we hit 98%.
But as you can see, our confidence level has been the most consistent among all the NFC North teams this year.
Our fans are also predicting a 9 point win against the Green Bay Packers this week, but the FanPulse glitched when calculating the predicted spread from Packer fans.
Green Bay fans are riding a wave of confidence after the Packers fired their head coach and they smacked the Falcons around last Sunday. They are at 45%, which is their highest level since week 5.
I wonder where their confidence will be after this week though...
Surprisingly, the Detroit Lions are still alive for a wildcard spot, so they’re hanging on to some hope at 40%, but Vikings’ fans are at a season low 17% confidence level.
But let’s get into the air raid siren.
I posed the following question on Twitter and received mixed results.
I saw a lot of negative tweets about it on Sunday, but did it help hype the crowd? https://t.co/HQ6OX1u2gJ

The Bears say it’s here to stay.
If you were there on Sunday night let us know how you liked it in the comment section.
And everyone vote in our poll of the day.
