NFC Playoff scenarios and Previews

There’s a lot on the line on Sunday in the Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings game.

  • If the Bears win and the Rams lose, the Bears take the 2nd seed and a bye, while the Rams drop to the 3rd seed. Los Angeles tailback Todd Gurley will not play on Sunday by the way.
  • If the Bears win and the Rams win, they remain in the three and two seeds respectively.
  • A Bears win and an Eagles loss in Washington, will allow the Vikings to stay in the 6th seed.
  • If the Vikings win they are guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. A Minnesota win coupled with a Seahawks loss to the Cardinals would give the Vikings the 5th seed and Seattle the 6th.
  • A Vikings win and a Seattle win makes it Minnesota in the 6th and the Seahawks in the 5th.
  • The Eagles only chance at getting into the playoffs is them beating the Redskins and the Bears beating the Vikings.
