Bears vs. Eagles playoff odds 2019: Betting lines and opening spread for the wild card round

On one side we have the young and hungry Chicago Bears making their first playoff appearance since 2010.

And on the other side it’s the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Chicago ended the year on a four game winning streak and Philly won their last three games, so both teams are hot at the right time, but which team will the odds favor?

Vegas has the home Bears as a 5.5 point favorite right now, which is the biggest spread of Wildcard weekend so far.

All three higher seeds are favored with the Seahawks getting 3 against the Cowboys, the Chargers getting 2.5 points against the Ravens, and the Texans being favored by 2.5 against the Colts as well.

These early numbers have already seen a lot of movement so it’s worth monitoring if you’re the gambling type.

Regardless, Soldier Field will be rocking next Sunday afternoon (January 6 at 3:40 pm) as the Bears try and turn all of Chicago into Club Dub.

What are your thoughts on the Bears opening up as a favorite?
