This is how the Chicago Bears will line up on offense

In Lester’s latest T Formation Conversation podcast, he discusses how the Bears will be lining up on offense, and to get a better idea on Chicago’s personnel groupings, he checked what the Kansas City Chiefs did last year with Matt Nagy as their offensive coordinator.

Most football fans are familiar with the X, Y and Z, but what about the U and the Zebra?

Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy recently spoke with Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun Times and he gave an indication on how he plans to deploy some of the talent on his team. He spoke specifically about tight ends Trey Burton and Adam Shaheen, and wide receiver Taylor Gabriel, so I gave my best guesses on how he’ll utilize the other skill players on his roster.

Those three, along with Mitchell Trubisky, Allen Robinson, Jordan Howard, Tarik Cohen and Cameron Meredith (who will be back soon... fingers crossed) will help make the 2018 Bears offense much more exciting.

In my latest T Formation Conversation podcast (Subscribe now for free on iTunes!), I discuss where the players will be lining up, and I also researched how the Kansas City Chiefs deployed their personnel groupings last year with Nagy as their offensive coordinator, to get a better idea on how the Bears will operate this year.

I ran through some of the numbers in a mini thread on Twitter that you can find by clicking my Tweet below.
