According to BetOnline.ag, the Chicago Bears are going to improve on their 5-11 season from a year ago. The online gambling site has their over/under for wins at 6.5, and I’d imagine they get a lot of action on the over with the good vibes coming out of Halas Hall these last few months.
A brand new head coach and offensive coaching staff is set to maximize the potential of second year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Running back Jordan Howard is sticking around to try for a third consecutive thousand yard season. There’s a whole slew of new offensive weapons added via free agency, and the defensive coaching staff is returning to build off of what they’ve done the last couple years.
If I were a betting man, I’d take the over.
Here are their over/unders for the other NFC North teams.
Green Bay Packers 10.5
MInnesota Vikings 10.5
Detroit Lions 7.5
They still have the Bears bringing up the rear for a fifth consecutive season, but if Chicago hit’s on the over, that’ll be their best record in the last five years.
What do you guys got?
