The Bears have been busy two days through the draft. Three impact starters in Roquan Smith, James Daniels, and Anthony Miller and Chicago is theoretically built to compete now. General manager Ryan Pace has had a busy off-season improving his team and he has one more main opportunity to close the gap on any holes the Bears have left.
They could still stand to attack edge rusher or grab a developmental offensive tackle. Traditionally, with Adrian Amos, Jordan Howard, Tarik Cohen, and Eddie Jackson, Day 3 of the draft has been right in Pace and the Bears’ wheelhouse. The opportunity to get some quality contributors and starters is undoubtedly going to be there.
The last day of the draft is here and watch the final semblances of madness unfold with us. Perhaps we can all get some sleep, or brunch afterwards. This has been an exhausting, but rewarding process for the Bears nevertheless.
