All-Bears Historical Fantasy Tournament: House of Bears vs The Optimists

These two teams need your vote to make it to the Championship!

NFL: Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears Patrick Gorski-USA TODAY Sports

Our second semifinal in our All-Chicago Bears Historical Fantasy Tournament starts now.

Sam Householder’s House of Bears takes on Erik Christopher Duerrwaechter’s The Optimists and you guys determine the winner by voting below. But don’t cast your vote until you check out the full 23-man roster of each team by clicking the links above.

Sam’s offense is powered by the great Walter Payton, which will no doubt create some play action opportunities for Mitchell Trubisky to throw it to Ken Kavanaugh, Marty Booker, and Dennis McKinnon.

On defense, Erik’s secondary of Charles Tillman, Walt Harris, Danieal Manning, and Eddie Jackson will try and stay disciplined when dropping back, and pass rush specialist Mark Anderson will come in on third down to try and make plays.

Sam’s defense has a trifecta of 85 Bears in Steve McMichael, Gary Fencik and Wilber Marshall, but also Jerry Azumah and Ed O’Bradovich trying to slow down ECD’s team.

Erik’s offense is captained by Sid Luckman at QB, and he’ll be throwing to wide outs Johnny Morris and Curtis Conway, and tight end Greg Olsen. Butt-Head himself, Kevin Butler, will provide points in the kicking game.

Remember to peep out Sam’s full House of Bears team as well as ECD’s The Optimists before voting.
