First round draft pick Roquan Smith will not play tonight, but Jordan Howard and Allen Robinson will suit up.

We’ll spotlight some on field action via Twitter as it comes available.

FOURTH QUARTER

THIRD QUARTER

Kevin White still in the game fighting for a job.

HALFTIME STATS

SECOND QUARTER

Mitchell Trubisky throws an interception on a sloppy route run by Tarik Cohen.

The Leonard Floyd injury is to his hand.

Here’s the Trubisky to Trey Burton TD.

FIRST QUARTER

Anthony Miller is going to be a stud.

Leonard Floyd spotted heading to the locker room as well.

Tight End Adam Shaheen injured his ankle and is ruled doubtful to return.

There are plenty of story-lines to follow during the game, but I think most Bears’ fans are hopeful to see the starting offense relatively intact for the first time. Mitchell Trubisky will finally be throwing passes to Allen Robinson. Jordan Howard will be running from the shotgun. Tarik Cohen could be scat-backing around the offense. Head coach Matt Nagy will still keep it pretty vanilla, but the talent they’ll have on the field should be enough to give us a glimmer into the kind of offense we’ll see in 2018.

We should see the starters play into the second quarter on both sides of the ball, and on defense I want to see Leonard Floyd play fast off the edge, and see the secondary make some plays.

What are you guys looking forward to see tonight?

PREGAME

After spending the week in Colorado practicing with the Broncos, the Chicago Bears will look to unleash the Matt Nagy offense on Saturday night in the Mile High City. They should have wide out Allen Robinson, they could have wide out Taylor Gabriel, and running backs Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen, and they’ll definitely have quarterback Mitchell Trubisky playing more than a few minutes.

Defensively, there’s a chance we’ll get to see Roquan Smith (#58) make his preseason debut after practicing all week. Even if the Bears do hold him out, that won’t affect his chances to play week one against the Green Bay Packers. I’m still sticking by my prediction that he starts that game.
