The Chicago Bears may have a closed practice today, but that doesn’t mean we’re shut out entirely. WCG’s Managing Editor, Robert Zeglinski, who also covers the Bears’ beat for the Rock River Times, will be live Tweeting his usual string of nuggets from the field at Olivet Nazarene University. Here’s Robert’s latest outstanding camp notebook from the RRT, Trubisky, an alpha Robinson, and offense take command.
In case you missed any of the action from yesterday, it was probably the best the Bears’ offense has looked all of camp, and the best quarterback Mitchell Trubisky has looked as well. “As we go more and more through these installs, the game is starting to slow down for us,” Trubisky said via Zeglinski’s article. “The more time we have and the more reps we have, it just slows down for us.”
Thursday against the Cincinnati Bengals should be exciting with Trubisky already confirmed for a little (probably very little) action.
If by some chance Trubisky goes down, could there be a surprise player suiting up for the Navy and Orange?
Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
