Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL, powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Bears fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
Most Chicago Bears’ fans were fired up for the start of the 2018 season, and that reflected in the first FanPulse survey that went out asking how confident we were in the Bears.
Us FanPulse Bears’ fans checked in at a 93% confidence rate before the season kicked off, and that dropped a bit after the loss to the Green Bay Packers, down to 82%. After the win on Monday night night against the Seattle Seahawks, that confidence polling number went up a smidge to 84%.
I’d imagine this number will fluctuate with wins and losses, but I’d also imagine it will fluctuate along with the performances from quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.
Green Bay FanPulse
The narrow win against the Bears (and injury to Aaron Rodgers) that first week really shook Packer fans. They went from 98% to 78%, but the tie against the Vikings has them up to 85%.
Fans of the 1-0-1 Vikings are at 92% after their tie.
Insert sarcasm font here —> I feel bad for Lions’ fans...
They’re down to an 18% approval rating after back to back loses to open their season.
The FanPulse fans of the Bears next opponent, the Arizona Cardinals, are the least confident of all the 32 teams at just 3%.
