Football is back!

Tonight marks the start of the 2018 NFL regular season as the Philadelphia Eagles host the Atlanta Falcons in a ‘Thursday Night Football’ matchup on NBC at 7:20 p.m. CT. Both teams are projected to be playoff contenders this season, so this game should be an entertaining start to the new year.

The two teams last met nearly eight months ago in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs, when the Eagles came away with a 15-10 despite being without star quarterback Carson Wentz. This will also be the case tonight, as Nick Foles will start the year off as Philadelphia’s starting quarterback as Wentz recovers from his ACL tear from December of last year.

This is an open thread, so fire away at the comments!
