The NFC North Champion Chicago Bears just had two more players added to the Pro Bowl with left tackle Charles Leno Jr. and center Cody Whitehair getting the nod. The two offensive linemen are the second and third Bears to be named as replacements following quarterback Mitchell Trubisky’s addition yesterday. Five Bears were originally named as participants in the game with outside linebacker Khalil Mack, corner Kyle Fuller, safety Eddie Jackson, defensive lineman Akiem Hicks, and return specialist Tarik Cohen all making the cut. Mack has since bowed out with a minor injury.
This will be the first Pro Bowl for the 27-year old Leno and the 26-year old Whitehair, and also the first Pro Bowl for all his other Chicago teammates playing in the game. The experience of rubbing shoulders with the best of the best is something that will stay with these players when they return home and start to prepare for the 2019 season.
The game will take place live from at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida on January 27, at 2:00 p.m Central time.
