The Bears are back from their bye but they’ll be without two of their leaders in Kyle Long and Akiem Hicks as both were placed on IR. The guys talk about the impact of those losses and the players looking to replace them including Rashaad Coward getting the first shot and Alex Bars getting his chance on the active roster. Bars is a Bears Over Beers favorite for obvious reasons...
The guys also talk about the state of officiating and EJ takes a swipe at the Chargers. Jeff attended the Kansas City - Houston game where there were 21 accepted penalties and really bogged down the game. Of even more relevance to Bears fans is the ridiculously bad job of officiating in the Green Bay game where the refs handed a victory to the Packers in classic fashion.
After the break, a preview of the Saints including the three biggest keys to the game. Who is the most important player to take away? What can the Bears do to attack the Saints improving defense? All that and more over tasty beverages!
Let us know what you think about the state of officiating in the comments below or head over to Twitter where the guys can be found @gridironborn and @thedraftsmanfb.
