Chicago Bears vs Los Angeles Rams: NFL Week 11 Pre-Party Livestream and Open Thread

The Bears got a win last week, but today they push for .500.

Good morning. Remember how just two seasons ago we were worrying about ever getting back to even?

Well, thanks to a very ineffective offense and a defense that hasn’t quite gotten back to its ball-stealing, lock-down ways, welcome back. Maybe over the course of that quest they’ll drag tonight’s opponent down with them, as the Rams appear to be going through their own disappointing season.

Similar to the Bears, the Rams are looking steeply up at a division leader and a likely wild-card spot, getting disappointing quarterback play out of Jared Goff and not getting as much out of their running game as they’d like, particularly a year after Sean McVay got everything moving smoothly.

It’s a little eerie.

With seven games left and at least three games behind the Packers, Vikings, Niners and Seahawks respectively, time is running out for the Bears and Rams to make their moves. For the Navy and Orange, this includes battling through a dinged-up David Montgomery and searching for that defensive edge that’s been missing since the bye week. If the offense is going to pick a time while they’re still swinging in the playoff hunt to play more than two or three drives a game, now would be a fantastic time to start.

Back to .500. Bear Down, my friends.

This week’s WCG Sunday Livestream promises to not go three and out for several series, make two or three good points, and then go back into a shell. Coffee, however, is a requirement.

If you want to get in touch with us during the stream, there are several ways to do that:

We’ll be live at about 9:30 AM CT. See you then.
