Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the offseason, we send 32 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Bears fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

Yes, fellow Chicago Bears fans, that is a season low 4% for our FanPulse confidence level.

There are only two fanbases feeling less optimistic about their franchise’s future than we are and those are fans of the Washington Redskins and the Jacksonville Jaguars, with both checking in at 2%.

Even fans of the 2-8 New York Giants, the Bears next opponent, have a confidence level of 17%, which is higher than any of ours since week 7.

Is our future really that bad? Is this roster so devoid of talent that there’s no hope? Or are we just blinded by the current disappointment from this 2019 team?

This Sunday is a winable game, and the following week, on Thanksgiving against the Lions, is a game the Bears could win too. If somehow these Bears climb back to .500 what will that do for your confidence level? Will you start doing the playoff math in your head to figure out Chicago’s path to the wildcard round?
