The Chicago Bears have added some help on their offensive line by signing Corey Levin off the Denver Broncos practice squad. This according to Levin himself via his Instagram.
EDIT: This signing is official as the Bears have placed Adam Shaheen and Sherrick McManis on injured reserve. Chicago also signs tight end Eric Saubert away from the Raiders’ practice squad.
Levin (6’4”, 307) was originally a sixth-round draft pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2017 after playing his college ball at Tennessee-Chattanooga, where he was an all conference pick at left guard. He also played some left tackle during his time there, but as a professional most of his work has been on the interior, including one start at left guard with the Titans in 2018.
He was waived by the Titans in their final cuts this year and signed by the Broncos the next day. After a couple weeks on their active roster he was waived then added to their practice squad after going unclaimed.
