The Bears prepare for the annual road trip to Green Bay with playoff implications on the line for both teams

George Conner (71) demolishes a Green Bay Packer (according to Getty images, although it does look a lot like a Ram helmet... either way, the dude is toast) during a turnover return in the 1950’s. He played for the Bears from 1948 through 1955. In eight seasons, he was named a first-team All-Pro five times, and was an invitee to the first four Pro Bowls. Conner was one of the first players ever to be recognized as a linebacker as the game evolved.
