The latest episode of the Bears Banter Podcast is here, and Chicago Bears LB Nick Kwiatkoski joins the podcast! Kwiatkoski is heading up his third annual holiday toy drive. You can get information about how to donate on his Twitter feed right here, or visit Care for Real for more information.
Host Bill Zimmerman and Kwiatkoski spent a couple minutes on his toy drive, but the bulk of the interview discussed Kwiatkoski’s season, the Bears struggles, the team turning the corner, the Green Bay Packers game coming up and even his pending free agency!
But we also asked him if the team is thinking about their playoff changes and his answer was interesting.
“It’s not something we really talk about,” Kwiatkoski said. “We have to take care of what we have to take care of first. Everything else will play out. For us, it has to be one game at a time, we have the Packers this week, let’s worry about that. Last week, it was the Dallas Cowboys, let’s just worry about that and when it’s over, onto the next one and everything else will take care of itself.”
Plus, Zimmerman breaks down the Bears playoff hopes, Trubisky’s recent surge and what level he needs to play at for there to be optimism and so much more. Check out the podcast below!
