The latest Bears Banter Podcast is here! Chicago Bears star wide receiver Allen Robinson joins Bill Zimmerman for an absolutely fantastic conversation. Robinson discusses his Within Reach Foundation. Their mission is to provide educational opportunities to low-income and inner-city Chicago students. Earlier in the fall, Robinson raised $135,000 at his An Evening Within Reach Dinner. To find out more about Robinson’s foundation or to donate or participate in any upcoming events, you can go to allenrobinson12.org for more information.

Zimmerman and Robinson spent the bulk of the interview discussing his season and the Bears’ season. They tackle a range of topics from their tough loss to the Green Bay Packers, the team’s up and down season this year, his great season and the play of Mitchell Trubisky.

What was really interesting was Robinson’s comments if he would be open to a contract extension with the Bears this offseason (Robinson is set to become a free agent after the 2020 season).

“Yeah, it’s definitely something I would be interested in,” Robinson said. “As far as going down that road, I know there’s a lot of things that goes into those things, so I haven’t been doing too much thinking about that now but as far as the community work that I do, and just how much I like Chicago, it’s definitely something I would be open to.”

Robinson wants to stay, Bears fans! To check out the conversation about his foundation and the Bears’ season, check out the podcast below!
