Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the offseason, we send 32 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Bears fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

For our FanPulse this week I’m still going to share the latest Chicago Bears confidence results, we’re down to a 22% by the way (insert fart noise here), but with the Bears eliminated from the playoffs I wanted to spotlight the national question this week.

Should division winners host playoff games regardless of record?

I think as long as the NFL has divisions, there has to be a reward for winning the division. Now you may say a playoff spot is enough of a reward, but I think the perk of hosting a wildcard game is beneficial for a division champ even if the “champ” has a losing record.

But as for the Bears’ FanPulse, as expected it took a dive with the loss to the Packers, but I still have confidence in the direction of the team and I think a couple tweaks here and there this offseason and they’ll be playing meaningful December football for a third year in a row in 2020.
