Bearman Don Wachter has been named as an inaugural inductee to the Ford Hall Of Fans at the Pro Football Hall Of Fame (HOF).
Wachter, of Plainfield, Illinois, will be inducted into the hall during a ceremony the week of the NFL HOF ceremonies, and will attend the HOF game.
He was notified that he was a winner of the Hall Of Fans nomination process the same way that NFL HOF winners are, by a knock on his hotel room door by Pro Football Hall Of Fame President David Baker.

Wachter was one of three finalists out of a field of six semi-finalists. The three were told that one of them would be named today, Friday, February 1. In a twist, the company actually awarded all three induction into the Hall Of Fans, so the initial class will have three members.
