Robert S. continues his series, Anatomy of a Play, by dipping back into his stack of plays that didn’t get enough attention. This time he reviews Akiem Hicks’ dramatic goal line forced fumble in Miami.

Bears fans, I’m back with the second episode in Anatomy of a Play! As a reminder, this series is aimed at combing through some of the “hidden gems” of 2018 — while many of the plays from last season got plenty of attention (Mack’s pick-6, Willy Wonka, Santa’s Sleigh, etc), there are still tons of plays from all throughout the year that have something to tell us. Some of these plays involve outstanding individual efforts, while others give us insight into what makes Nagy’s offensive creativity so special.

This episode covers what should’ve been a game-saving stop against the Dolphins -- Akiem Hicks swallows Kenyan Drake at the goal line to force a fumble in overtime. It’s a phenomenal display of strength and timing that didn’t get enough attention, so I broke it down — check it out in the link below and let me know what you think!

As for episode 3, I hope you’re ready to see Matt Nagy bamboozle someone...
