The biggest addition to the Bears roster in 2018 was the arrival of Khalil Mack. He changed the state of the franchise overnight. He is a one man wrecking ball... but he can’t do it alone. Chicago has some help for Mack but you can never have enough good pass rushers. In this episode of the Bears Over Beers podcast, Jeff and EJ discuss the current EDGE players on the roster and go for deep swim in the pool of EDGE rushers in the 2019 NFL Draft.
EJ goes all-in on mid-round EDGE players including Oshane Ximines, Justin Hollins, and Jalen Jelks. He even brings a quick preview of a player just added to the draft-eligible ranks this week! Of we introduce a couple of new brews along the way and give full reports on each at the end.
Crack your own beverage of choice and join us as we dive in on EDGE defenders. Cheers and Bear Down!
NOTE: This episode was recorded BEFORE Jaylon Ferguson’s historically bad pro day workout. With those numbers on the books his draft stock will certainly take a tumble.
